The Furnace were delighted to be asked by Duncan Ashford to provide the trophy for the Southern Lakes Swimming Club 19 Lakes Challenge. Yes that's right the award winners swim across 19 lakes over the course of the summer. All award winners get their name engraved on the trophy, which is one of our medium size artworks featuring Lake Wakatipu. Aran was able to leave space so that future winners will also be able to get their names engraved. The awards were presented on April 3rd and the trophy artwork will be hanging in Altitude Brewery for anyone who wants to take a look.
