Custom Area

Can you do a custom area?


To add a new question go to app settings and press "Manage Questions" button.




How much is a custom area?


Yes! To add a picture follow these simple steps:

  1. Enter App Settings
  2. Click the "Manage Questions" button
  3. Click on the question you would like to attach a picture to
  4. When editing your answer, click on the picture icon and then add an image from your library




How long does it take to design my custom artwork?


Yes! Users can add video from YouTube or Vimeo with ease:

  1. Enter App Settings
  2. Click the "Manage Questions" button
  3. Click on the question you would like to attach a video to
  4. When editing your answer, click on the video icon and then paste the YouTube or Vimeo video URL
  5. That's it! A thumbnail of your video will appear in answer text box




What sizes area available?


The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.

Artworks and sizes

How do I hang my artwork?


All small size (30x 38) artworks from the 'Local Places' collection come with the hanging kit included. You simple screw the hooks into the predrilled holes and tie the included cord. The medium (42 x 52) and large (62 x 79) size artworks come ready to hang with a cord already fixed. These vary in weight between 5kg-12kg and you will need to ensure the wall fixing is suitable to carry this weight. The XL size artworks come with a French cleat mounting system, which needs to be fixed securely to the wall studs. (Instructions are included).




How do I clean my artwork?


A soft brush attachment to a vacuum cleaner is usually sufficient to remove dust.




Do they come with glass?


Glass is not included in our artworks as it detracts from the 3d nature of the art. They are a very tactile item. They are also not suited to non-reflective glass as it makes the deeper layers look blurry. However if required glass or acrylic can be added for an additional charge.




How can I personalise my artwork?





Can I have mine with a paler blue colour?





Do they come in any other colours apart from blue?
